Hi, I’m Lisa. I am the founder of Coach To Health and this is my story.

When I was 15 my mum was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and prescribed an assortment of medication to help manage her condition. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed during a time when medication was the only treatment and little to no lifestyle advice was offered to her.

In 2019 I left my 10 year career in advertising in the hope of finding an alternative solution to her reliance on medication. After extensive research, a lot of dedication from my Mum, and some lifestyle tweaking, we were able to get her into remission from her type 2 diabetes and free from all her medication.

After such incredible results I decided to retrain as a clinical nutritionist. I gained my Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and accreditation with the Association for Nutritionists (AfN), the only independent regulator for Registered Nutritionists.

I created Coach To Health to give others the same freedom from chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes.

Our approach

We are a preventative health clinic specialising in blood sugar management. Similarly to type 2 diabetes, many common symptoms are often caused by blood sugar imbalances. Tiredness, irritability, excess sweating, weight gain, adult acne and low energy levels can often be a sign of irregular blood sugar fluctuations.

Using a holistic approach focusing on nutritional interventions, sleep physiology, movement and mindset our approach will help you to regulate your blood sugar levels allowing you to feel like yourself again.

Unlike many health advisors we use science backed, up-to-date research in combination with blood testing, and blood glucose monitoring in order to create a plan tailored to you and your goals.
